City Notices

The Mayor has called a Special Meeting of the Biwabik City Council for Tuesday June 17 at 4:00PM in the Biwabik City Council Chambers.

The items to be considered are:

A request from Biwabik Brewery owner Dirk Megarry to purchase some City-owned land near the car wash and fitness center
Approve the hiring of an EMT for the Fire & Ambulance Department. (Former member Bryan Koller would like to return)
A proposal from Christopher Engquist for the maintenance of Main Street landscaping
Approval of the Personnel Committee’s recommendation to engage David Drown Associates as a consultant to carry out the city administrator recruitment and hiring process

Due to the short timeframe, materials for the meeting will be distributed on Monday afternoon.
