Biwabik Community Compost Site Policy

Community Compost Site Now Open

The City of Biwabik's compost site is available for residents to dispose of leaves, grass clippings, weeds, and other compostable yard materials.

Accepted: Leaves, grass clippings, and weeds.

Not Accepted: brush, yard waste bags, food scraps, garbage, construction debris, or other non-compostable materials.

Please help keep the site operational by following all posted rules and placing materials only in designated areas. Improper dumping may result in loss of access and enforcement action.

REMINDER: The mulch pile located at the Public Works garage is NOT for the public. Please do not take mulch from the site unless specifically authorized by the City.
