Vermilion Trail Park Campground Rules

  1. HAVE FUN!
  2. REGISTRATION: All guests and visitors must register at the Campground Host Site upon arrival. Assistance is always available to aid campers, but please be patient in your requests for service. We are responsible for helping all campers. LATE arrivals are always welcome.
  3. CHECK OUT is NOON. If you find your camping experience as enjoyable as we hope you will, and decide to stay longer than indicated when registering, please notify the host as quickly as possible.
  4. NO SMOKING IN BUILDING, RESTROOMS, OR SHOWERS.
  5. QUIET HOURS are from 10:30 p.m. until 7:30 a.m. Campers are asked to be reasonably quiet if they are early risers. Please walk and talk softly until other campers awake. Noisy campers (whether drinking or not) are never welcome. Moreover, decent language (you know what we mean, so let's not quibble about the meaning of the word) should be used by everyone at all times. This, after all, a family campground.
  6. Alcoholic beverages should be confined to each camper's assigned space. Anyone found using, buying, or selling any controlled substance will be immediately removed from the property.
  7. ALL CHILDREN are to be supervised at all times. An adult in the restrooms and showers should accompany small children.
  8. No one under the age of 18 shall reserve or camp unless accompanied by their parents or guardian. Please check with the host for special arrangements.
  9. No firearms shall be discharged within any area of the Campground.
  10. The Biwabik Police Campground patrols throughout the day and night.
  11. Post Office is in town Biwabik on Main Street.
  12. Messages of an emergency nature ONLY will be delivered to your site. We cannot page campers, of course. All other messages will be posted on your post.
  13. Sewer elbows or donuts are required. Please have connection well sealed and do not permit hose to drop into pipe.
  14. CAMPFIRES: Campfires in FIRE RINGS ONLY. Do not move fire rings. Do not use fire rings for garbage. Cans are labeled at each site "BUTTS HERE" for all cigarette butts. All sites must be cleaned up from garbage, debris, and butts upon departure. You are responsible for bagging your garbage and placing it in the Dumpster.
  15. VEHICLES: Riding of motorcycles and motorbikes in the campground is ALLOWED as transportation only between campsites and gate, provided noisy level is not offensive to other guests. Repair or maintenance of vehicles on your site is not permitted. No oil changes, transmission flushes, or radiator flushes. All vehicles must have a current registration.
  16. Campers and their guests are urged to drive slowly and exercise extreme caution when operating any type of motor vehicle on park roads. Children are playing throughout the park and simply don't watch for traffic. The Speed Limit is 10 MPH.
  17. ENVIROMENT: Please do not flush foreign matter down the sinks or toilets. All cooking oil or grease, fish cleanings, etc... should be placed in Dumpster. Do not drain gray water on the ground. No dishwashing or bathing in the restroom sink. Please do not cut or damage the vegetation in the park to include PEELING OF BARK. Please do not hang lanterns in or on trees. Decorative lights can be used in the trees. Please remember to turn them off if you are not outside.
  18. PETS: NO PETS IN BUILDING. All pets must be leashed. All pet droppings must be cleaned up promptly. No more than 2 pets per site. Unattended pets will be taken to the Animal Control Facility in Hoyt Lakes. Noisy or aggressive pets are not permitted in park. We welcome you and your pet; however, failure to comply with pet standards will result in loss of pet privileges.
  19. Management reserves the right to rent lots that are vacated unless rent is paid in advance to hold site. Site is terminated when you remove trailer from the park without notifying the campground host. If leaving site temporarily, please leave something to show it is occupied.
  20. BEACH: Our beautiful lake is available for fishing and boating. Registered lifeguards are on duty from Noon to 5:00 p.m. As a result, an adult must accompany children under 10 years of age when entering the beach area. ALL beach rules apply.
  21. FIREWOOD IS FOR SALE AT THE CAMPGROUND HOST SITE.

    OWNERS AND MANAGEMENT ABSOLVE THEMSELVES FROM ALL LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILTY PERTAINING TO LOSS BY FIRE, THEFT, ACCIDENT, DROWNING OR ANY OTHER CAUSE WHATSOEVER. THE MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO EVICT ANYONE WHO REFUSES TO COMPLY WITH THE CAMPGROUND RULES AS PROVIDED AND/OR FOR DETRIMENTAL CONDUCT.
